HISTORYAuburn Aviation Association began in 1984 as a small group of pilots and airport enthusiasts dedicated to aviation safety, friendship, and community involvement. The years since then have been a tribute to their foresight and dedication to this cause. From a small group to more than one hundred members, they have helped to make this airport one of the most popular in northern California. As a non-profit 501 (c)3 organization, this group has been able to promote the next generation of aviators through its two aviation scholarship funds and has worked with the City of Auburn to make the airport self-sufficient. Our organization's top mission is to fund scholarships and help launch fledgling pilots.

We meet roughly each month and often have the ear of the airport manager, city council member(s) and other City of Auburn representatives. If you have an issue to air, we want to hear about it.
