The 2022 Auburn Aviation Association            Brigadier General C.E. "Bud" Anderson Award

Christopher Morales                                    Christopher’s love for aviation started back when he was in diapers, being able to travel with family that worked for the airlines. He decided to pursue his dream by starting out with the Flight Technology Degree program at Sacramento City College. After completing, and graduating with his A.S, he transferred to William Jessup University in Rocklin, Ca. There he proceeded with obtaining his private pilot license, as well as IFR. He graduated in April of 2023 with his Bachelors in Aviation, after two years. He is currently finishing his commercial license with plans to get into flying cargo. Christopher calls KAUN and AAA his home, ever since starting his training there. He was the recipient of the Brig.Gen.C.E."Bud" Anderson scholarship, which opened up doors to help complete his private training. Furthermore, Chris was asked to join the judge panel for the next round of scholarships the following year, where he helped give that same opportunity to other future aviators. He was also invited to join the AAA Mentoring Team in 2024, assuming the invaluable role of mentoring a student pilot towards their Private Pilot Certificate. Being a part of the community at KAUN is something that Christopher will cherish throughout his whole flying career.
