DONATE

There are two ways your donations support the organization.  Using the form below, donations can be made to the AAA general operating fund, which helps cover the cost of supplies for meetings and fundraising and other costs we incur to operate the organization.

To donate directly to the restricted scholarship foundation, click the link to the Auburn Aviation Association Education Endowment Fund (AAAEEF) at Placer Community Foundation (PCF). This fund is invested by the Foundation for long-term growth with earnings supporting AAA’s aviation scholarships and other educational opportunities. A gift to this fund ensures AAA’s work will continue for generations.

LEAVE A LASTING LEGACY

A GIFT IN YOUR WILL OR TRUST, KNOWN AS A CHARITABLE BEQUEST.

Donate here to the Auburn Aviation Association Education Endowment Fund (AAAEEF) at Placer Community Foundation (PCF).

A charitable bequest is language in your will or trust that leaves to Placer Community Foundation a specific item, an amount of money, a gift contingent upon certain events or a percentage of your estate. By including a bequest to the Foundation in support of the Auburn Aviation Association Education Endowment Fund in your will or trust, your gift entitles your estate to maximum charitable tax deductions afforded by federal law. (Bequest Intention Form)

A GIFT THROUGH YOUR INDIVIDUAL RETIREMENT ACCOUNT (IRA)

An IRA Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) can be donated to a Charity Tax Free.

IRAs or other qualified retirement plans are often the best types of assets to leave a charity because they are taxed heavily when left to heirs. RMD's can be gifted to the AAAEEF completely Tax Free

Beneficiary of an IRA Account.

The Auburn Aviation Association Endowment (AAAEEF) can also be listed as a Beneficiary on an IRA Account. This is a very easy way to designate a contribution without changing your Will or Trust. Simply designate "Placer Community Foundation in support of AAAEEF" as the beneficiary of the account and inform PCF of your decision.

BUY AN ENGRAVED BRICK

Click here for the order form to purchase an engraved brick at the Veterans Memorial at the Auburn Airport.  Or call AAA Secretary, Joanie Mooneyham, for information.  (530) 401-0595.

Sculptor Doug Van Howd, a pilot himself, created this impressive artwork installed at the Auburn Municipal Airport.  WWII Triple Ace Brigadier General Clarence "Bud" Anderson is depicted in the piece, but the installation is a tribute to all veterans. You can purchase a brick and have it engraved in honor of someone you'd like to recognize.  Originally, brick sales contributed to funding the sculpture. Brigadier General Anderson has graciously allowed AAA to collect additional proceeds to go into the endowment fund in his name.

WE'LL TAKE IT!

When it's just easier to donate it for the tax credit, Auburn Aviation Association can accept it and give you a receipt for a tax deduction.  Contact Don Wolfe
